Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Nicolas Francken ("we", "us") for the use of Jelly, a personal AI assistant available as an iOS app with an optional WhatsApp channel. By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

The service

Jelly lets you chat with an AI assistant that manages your tasks, reminders, lists, journal, and personal knowledge base, and can send you notifications and summaries. Features may change, improve, or be withdrawn over time.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. You must meet the minimum age shown on the App Store listing. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account; deletion is immediate and permanent.

AI-generated content

Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. The assistant is not a professional advisor: do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. You are responsible for reviewing anything important before acting on it — including reminders, dates, and calendar changes it makes for you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful content or activity, no attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no use of the assistant to harm others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content you create. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and transmit it — including to the third-party AI providers described in the Privacy Policy — solely to operate the service for you.

Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase. The price and billing period are always shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss caused by third-party providers, or missed reminders and notifications; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service or your access for breach of these terms, legal reasons, or discontinuation of the product, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Apple App Store

These terms are between you and us — not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or third-party intellectual property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Argentina, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
